The 1960's Batman TV Series was a wonderful lighthearted and wacky show. Being based on comics the episodes were exuberant and flamboyant in ways that you simply don't see in the live-action superhero stories of today. The Batmobile in this series is seen by many as physically embodying the spirit of the show. Built from a modified concept car into the ultimate crime fighting machine, this behemoth started the long standing tradition of Batman combining style with high-tech gadgetry. The curves are captured quite well in this model and it comfortably seats Batman and his trusty ward.
