The ornithopter was humanity's adaptation to a future without complex computing. Without the assistance of automated guidance systems, only skilled pilots could navigate these multi-winged flying machines. They were made in a variety of different configurations to fulfill the many roles of the great houses. This is an Atreides ornithopter designed for personnel transport and reconnaissance. 

This model has an internal cockpit that seats three minifigures, and a hull that seats another four figs. The wings articulate and top pieces can be removed for easy access. There are also instructions for a display/flight stand.
