BrickLink XML files are parts lists. They help you load the pieces for a BrickVault model into a BrickLink Wanted List so you can source the bricks yourself.

XML files are not building instructions and they are not physical parts. BrickVault sells digital instructions and parts-list files only.

1. Log into BrickLink

Visit bricklink.com and sign in to your account. Create an account first if you do not already have one.

2. Open Wanted List upload

Go to the BrickLink Wanted List upload page.

3. Create or choose a Wanted List

Add a new Wanted List for the model, or choose an existing list if you already created one.

4. Import your XML file

On BrickLink, choose the option to upload BrickLink XML format. If BrickLink asks you to paste XML text, open the downloaded XML file in a text editor, then copy everything from <INVENTORY> through </INVENTORY> into the BrickLink field.

5. Verify items

Continue through BrickLink's verification step and review the parts before adding them to your Wanted List.

6. Buy the parts

Use BrickLink's Buy All or Easy Buy tools to find sellers for the parts in your Wanted List.
