The Pelta-class frigate was a versatile starship used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Originally designed for medical and transport purposes, it was often refitted for combat and command roles. It featured a compact, angular hull and rotating wings for atmospheric entry. Notable for its adaptability, the Pelta was used for medical support, supply runs, and fleet coordination.

Imperial Pelta-Class Frigate
Under the Empire, the Pelta-class saw limited continued use, often repurposed as a patrol or support vessel. These Imperial variants were typically stripped of medical equipment and refitted with heavier armor and upgraded weapons systems. Though overshadowed by more modern Imperial warships, the Pelta's modular design still made it valuable in specific support roles.

Phoenix Home (Phoenix One)
Phoenix Home, also referred to as Phoenix One, was a heavily modified Pelta-class command ship used by the Phoenix Cell of the early Rebel Alliance. Serving as the flagship for Commander Jun Sato, it coordinated rebel activities across the Lothal sector. Outfitted with enhanced communication systems and defensive shielding, it symbolized the early organization of rebel forces before its destruction by the Empire.
